«I hear in Frank Maza’s music a search for a new sound that draws on the must current rhythmic grooves and connects them to the legacy of Flamenco’s deep music traditions. Infectious and plaintive at the same time. I think that is the artist’s quest — to find something new by returning to the roots with fresh eyes and ears.»

Frank Maza is a singer, composer and multi instrumentalist who brings to light a new sound which combines both his roots and vanguard music. The project involves a brand new set of original songs where the sounds and technology of today combine with flamenco in a very natural way. A repertoire influenced just as much by Camarón, Paco de Lucía and Enrique Morente, as well as Billie Eilish, Bill Evans or Anderson Paak.
Frank’s show is an open adventure where anything can happen and anybody can show up. Usually he is accompanied by some of the best flamenco musicians of today.
Israel Suárez «Piraña» with the percussion, the guitar of José del Tomate or Yeray Cortés, the soniquete of Juan Carmona, José del Paquete and Saul Quirós and also a section of female singers with Alana Silkëy, Rut, Elsy Gomes or Miryam Latrece. And of course any member of the Casa Limon family can always give us a welcomed surprise, Montse Cortés, Nella, Kiki Morente…
Lastly, in these shows there can always be featuring artists like Montse Cortés, Nella or Kiki Morente, but that comes down to luck.
